I am a retired GrandMother of five.. I have two sons and had a daughter passed away 13 years ago.
raised her son since the age of 4 years he is now 18. I never knew i could write anything
but, it started back in 1991 while i was at work
thinking about how the phones were getting on my
nerves.. I have a lot of different poems. And when in my spare time I like to talk with family and friends. I have
a friend since high school and we get along and go out sometimes and she is the God Mother... about Rosalind Brooks

I do try to write from some of the things that has happen or is happening in life even though my poems are short.

Rosalind's poetry pierces your senses on many levels--sometimes very direct, other times oh so subtlely. Sometimes even in whispers. This is part of what makes the poems so interesting.

The poet is capable of writing a poem for any mood. The writing is fresh and full of surprises.

Her poetry is very sincere. The phrasing is so honest that you easily relate to the emotions expressed.
